Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama is an American lawyer who was born in Chicago, Illinois, United States on January 17, 1964. Her birth name is Michelle Lavauhgh Robinson. She is a member of the Democratic Party. In the period 2009 - 2017, she was honored to serve as First Lady of the United States under the administration of her husband Barack Obama. She has two daughters, Malia Ann Obama and Sasha Obama. She studied at Princeton University and Harvard University. Michelle, in the course of her career as a lawyer, also worked with non-profit organizations and with the association of the Dean of Student Services of the University of Chicago and as vice president of the Community of External Affairs of the Medical Center of the University of Chicago. In her role as First Lady, Michelle has been a role model for women and developed jobs as an advocate for poverty awareness.
