Cecilie Maja Hastrup Karsho is a Danish musician. She was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1987 of Tanzanian descent. She dreamed of being a professional singer, and she started doing it from kindergarten. Acting under the name Coco O she formed the duo Quadron with Robin Hannibal. (2009). Coco O released her debut album "Quadron" (2009) and moved to Los Angeles.

Coco O has worked with Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams and contributed to the Baz Luhmann soundtrack with the song "When the Wind Blows" from the film.
